Cam Bioceramics is an established B-to-B key supplier of calcium phosphate based synthetic biomaterials to the leaders in the orthopaedic, spinal and dental industries. Cam Bioceramics also produces bioceramic calcium phosphate (hydroxyapatite) coating powders which, by means of a plasma spray robot, are applied as a bioactive coating to the substrates of our multinational customers.
Bone substitutes
Cam Bioceramics produces calcium phosphate as precursor powder for granules and blocks. These are used by our customers as bioactive and osteoconductive bone replacement products and bone void materials.
Custom-made products
Cam Bioceramics is specialised in custom-made production for an ever increasing number of customers, each with their own requirements and specifications. As one of the pioneers in this field, our extensive bioceramic know-how enables us to (co-)develop and produce custom-made granules for fillers in soft tissue, granules and blocks for bone replacement products and special coating powders for implants.
Coating powders & coating services
At Cam Bioceramics we produce and sell calcium phosphate coating powders but also perform coating services for our customers. We apply bioceramic calcium phosphate (hydroxyapatite) coatings on our customers' orthopaedic prostheses, mainly hips and knees, but also on dental and spinal implants. Our coating powders are amongst the purest in the industry and available in various thicknesses and crystallinity. We continuously search for new techniques, both in coating and application, to improve the implants of our customers. Being experts in applying hydroxyapatite coatings, we have also successfully developed a wide range of coating powders. As a result of our high quality standards, we have become a worldwide leading supplier of bioactive ceramic powders and plasma sprayed coating services.
Packaging & labelling
At Cam Bioceramics we want to make life as easy as possible for our customers, so we offer a full range of packaging, labelling and sterilization services. For our customers we can cover the complete cycle from the production of calcium phosphate porous granules to the delivery of sales-pack products.
